A new restaurant has come to the city of Canal Fulton.
In case you missed it, the new restaurant Cast Iron Bar & Grille celebrated its grand opening on May 15 in Canal Fulton.
At the new restaurant, you can get appetizers such as jalapeno poppers, fried mozzarella sticks, battered mushrooms (which come with ranch), and jalapeno popper skillet dip, which is made with a 4-cheese blend, jalapenos, and the restaurant's house spice blend before being heated in an iron skillet. The dip comes with house-made tortilla chips and is topped with jalapeno poppers.
They also offer chicken wing and onion ring flights, both of which come with your choice of 4 dipping sauces. Dipping sauce options include bourbon BBQ, buffalo ranch, Carolina gold, parmesan garlic, ranch, BBQ, blue cheese, buffalo, mango habanero, buffalo garlic, extreme hot, sweet teriyaki, white queso, Nashville hot, and spicy orange cheese.
As for main courses, the restaurant serves a big 24-ounce porterhouse steak that's prepared in an iron skillet, bone-in pork chops that are covered with your sauce of choice, and a selection of burgers. Check out the traditional steak burger, which is topped with your choice of cheese and with any or all of the following: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and BBQ sauce.
In addition, they offer burgers like the pulled pork steak burger (in addition to pulled pork, this burger is topped with orange cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and house-made slaw) and the jalapeno popper steak burger.
If you don't eat red meat, the restaurant also offers beer-battered cod, buffalo chicken wraps, chicken sandwiches, and pierogi.
Do you have room for dessert? Check out the cobblers, which are baked in iron skillets. Cobbler flavors they offer are cherry, apple, and peach. They also offer cookies, which are also baked in iron skillets.

The restaurant is open 6 days a week, Monday to Wednesday from 4 PM to 8 PM and Thursday to Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM. It is closed on Sunday.
