A new eatery has come to the city of Logan.
On June 3, the bagel shop Hocking Hills Bagel Company opened its doors in Logan. The owners of the new eatery are couple Abby Rose and Anderson Long.
The shop has bagels such as plain, everything, pumpernickel, sesame, garlic, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, and onion. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free plain and everything bagels are available.
If you like cream cheese with your bagel, the shop has a variety of cream cheese spreads. In addition to plain cream cheese, the shop has very berry, buffalo ranch, cinnamon toast crunch, strawberry funfetti, Oreo, and nutty buddy spreads.
For breakfast, you can get bagel sandwiches such as the early riser (which has avocado, tomato, bacon, egg, cheese, and raspberry jalapeno jam), wake n' bacon (in addition to bacon, this sandwich comes with egg and cheese), the Elvis (which has peanut butter, banana, and honey), and berried alive, which is an open-faced berry bagel with very berry cream cheese and fresh berries.
For lunch, the shop offers sandwiches such as firehouse (which has chicken, buffalo ranch cream cheese, jalapenos, and onions), I "ham" legend (which, of course, has ham plus cheese, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of sauce), island boy (which is a sweet and savory sandwich with ham, pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and cinnamon), famous chicken salad, the Philly (which has chicken, onions, peppers, and mayo), and Reuben, which comes with corned beef, Swiss, kraut, and Thousand Island dressing.
If you're in need of vegetarian options, the shop has the veggie monster (which comes with a lot of vegetables plus hummus) and the green goddess, which comes with cream cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and onions.
Are you really hungry? Check out the Bigfoot Challenge, which is a double decker bagel sandwich with lots of roast beef, cheese, and toppings. If you want to win the challenge, you have to finish the sandwich within 8 minutes. If you don't feel like having such a big sandwich, the shop also offers a Little-foot sandwich.
Aside from sandwiches, the shop also has salads like cranberry pecan chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette, southwest salad with chipotle ranch dressing, and BLT chicken salad with your choice of dressing.
If you have room for dessert, the eatery offers cake pops, cupcakes, and cheesecake.
If you want to check out the shop, you can find it at 40 N Market Street Logan, OH 43148 (next to SimpliCity Threads Boutique).
The eatery is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
