A popular restaurant chain is getting ready to open a new location in Huber Heights.
Are you a fan of BIBIBOP Asian Grill? If the answer is yes, you might want to know that the restaurant chain is opening a new location in the city of Huber Heights.
For those of you who don't know what BIBIBOP is, it's a fast-casual restaurant that serves customizable bowls that are inspired by bibimbap, which is a Korean rice dish. The chain was founded by Charley Shin, who was born in South Korea and moved to Ohio at the age of 13 before attending Ohio State University.
For a customizable bowl at the restaurant, you start with a base. Base options usually include romaine lettuce, super-green salad, sweet potato noodles, purple rice, and white rice.
Then you choose your protein. Protein options typically are Korean BBQ beef, steak, chicken, spicy chicken, and tofu.
Then you can add any of these hot toppings to your bowl: black beans, bean sprouts, potatoes, and/or roasted sesame broccoli.
After that, you can add any of these cold toppings to your meal: corn, carrots, cheese, cucumber, kimchi, pickled red cabbage, and sesame kale.
Finally, you choose one or two of these sauces: yum yum, teriyaki, gochujang, spicy sriracha, sesame ginger, sesame oil, and ginger teriyaki.
If you have room for a little dessert, BIBIBOP typically offers snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and coconut milk pudding with mango. In addition to your standard soft drinks, the restaurant offers lemonade made with cane sugar, sweetened green tea, black currant black tea, mixed berry omija tea, and passionfruit lemonade.
No opening date for the new location has been announced yet, but the restaurant is expected to open later this year.
On the day of a new location's grand opening, BIBIBOP usually offers giveaways such as the first 50 customers receiving free BIBIBOP bowls for a year and free bowls for civic workers. The restaurant chain offered such giveaways for the grand openings of the Avon location in Northeast Ohio and the Delaware location in central Ohio, both of which occurred earlier this year.
If you want to check out the new location when it opens, the new restaurant will be located at 7606 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424, where the new development Huber Heights Commons will be.
