Oregon has a new place to get some grub.
Last month, Paddy Joe's Pub & Grub opened its doors. So far, the place has been well-received by customers, earning an average of over 4 stars with Google reviews.
Their menu features appetizers such as locally made pretzel bites (which come with mustard ale sauce and cheese sauce), bar nachos (which have cheddar, nacho cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeno, sour cream, and salsa), and fried cheese curds and pickle chips (the curds are also locally made).
If you're hungry, you should check out Paddy Joe's smash-burger, which comes with two 3-ounce beef patties, cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and their house-made Paddy sauce. They also have a fried bologna sandwich with smoked all-beef bologna, mayo, lettuce, sliced onions, tomato, and American cheese; a Reuben sandwich with thin slices of corned beef, Swiss cheese, kraut, and 1000 Island dressing; and a cheesesteak with ribeye, onion, and cheese on a hoagie.
If you're in need of a vegetarian option, the menu has a burger with a black bean patty plus cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo.
Saving room for dessert? The pub offers a big piece of chocolate cake that's enough for two people (but they won't judge you if you eat it all by yourself) and a pretzel sundae, which has their locally made pretzel bites covered in cinnamon and sugar served on top of vanilla ice cream and finished with caramel, chocolate, and whipped cream.
Since the place just opened, Paddy Joe's says that their menu will continue to evolve and change. Just a few weeks ago, the restaurant added wings to their offerings. Their non-breaded wings are smoked and flash fried. Right now, you can get them tossed in one of these house-made sauces: garlic buffalo, Bob Marley (which has jalapeno, a bit of honey, and jerk seasoning), honey BBQ, Mother's oriental (which is sweet and spicy), and orange honey habanero.
On Wednesdays, you can treat yourself to $1 wings, which you can then wash down with $4 whiskey sodas.
If you like your food, you can order the "kitchen coffee," where you show your thanks to the kitchen staff by getting them a round of drinks.

The place is open Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 12 AM, Friday to Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 11 PM (however, the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM Monday to Thursday, 10 PM Friday to Saturday, and 9 PM Sunday).
