This popular restaurant in Tremont has added pierogi specials to its menu

Say hello to Pierogi Thursdays.

If you're a fan of pierogis, you're going to want to visit the Rowley Inn on Thursdays. The local staple in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood has added a bunch of pierogi specials to its menu, and for now, the specials will only be available at the restaurant on Thursdays.

If a poutine with pierogis instead of fries sounds delicious to you, you should check out the pierogi poutine, which consists of 5 pierogis topped with cheddar curds, peppered gravy, sauteed onions, and sour cream.

Also on the menu are nacho-rogi (which is basically loaded nachos, only with pierogi chips instead of tortilla chips), loaded rogi (sauteed pierogis that are served on a bed of sauerkraut; are topped with cheddar, bacon, kielbasa, sauteed onions and peppers, and sour cream; and come with paprikash sauce on the side), and rogi and cheese (the Rowley Inn's famous 4-cheese mac and cheese, only with pierogis instead of mac).

On Thursdays, the restaurant is also going to be offering some pierogi flatbreads such as euro-style (this flatbread is topped with house-made kraut, spicy kielbasa, smoked gouda, honey mustard, and red wine reduction) and beet & goat cheese (which is topped with golden beet puree, diced tomato, balsamic reduction, goat cheese, herb mix, pickled red onion, and candied walnuts). The base for these flatbreads will be flat pierogis filled with potato and cheddar.

Also on the special Thursday menu are two burgers. The Clevelander burger is topped with kielbasa, pierogi, house-made kraut, beer cheese, and stadium mustard. There is also a rogi burger with sauteed onions, cheddar, kraut, and sour cream. Instead of the typical burger buns, the rogi burger comes on two flat pierogis.

The Rowley Inn gets their pierogis from the Pierogi Lady, an Akron-based distributor of handmade pierogi that is owned and operated by Autumn Johnston and Marcus Walker. The pierogi varieties that the Rowley Inn will be offering are 4 cheese potato, garlic & herb, or vegan potato.
