This newly opened restaurant in Ohio City is now offering a happy hour menu

After many trials and a lengthy renovation process that took longer than expected, the restaurant Cha finally opened its doors last month at its current location in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood.

This isn't owner Susan Walters's first rodeo. She opened Cha two times before at two different locations, but unfortunately, those locations both closed.

However, given the positive reception the new Ohio City location has garnered so far, there's good reason to be optimistic this time around.

Gradually, the restaurant has been working on expanding its menu. Cha's menu, of course, has the restaurant's signature thin-crust pizza. Customers are loving the Spanish pizza (which is topped with Tasso ham, Mahon cheese, tomatoes, and peas), eggplant pizza (which is topped with grilled eggplant, house-made ricotta, roasted garlic, and olives), and margarita pizza (which is topped with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil).

The restaurant is also serving a selection of small plates (check out the bubbly ricotta accompanied by apples and fennel toast or smoked trout accompanied by pickled onion and Cantabrian cheese) and salads (check out the Mediterranean, which has mixed greens, cured meats, caramelized onions, peppers, artichokes, olives, pistachios, and feta).

And now, Cha has added a happy hour menu.

The item in the picture above is Cha's mac and cheese, which is featured on the new happy hour menu. Their mac and cheese is made with white cheddar, caramelized onions, and wagon wheel pasta ($8).

Also on the happy hour menu are mussels in a tangy miso broth ($10), crispy tofu sticks (which are served with marinara and heirloom tomatoes) ($7), salted Yukon potatoes (which are flavored with lemon and roasted garlic aioli) ($6), and warm artichoke gratin with crostini ($10).

Wine and beer are also on the happy hour menu. Treat yourself to a glass of pinot grigio ($6), sauvignon blanc ($7), cabernet ($7), or Argento Malbec ($6). If you're more of a beer person, the new menu has pilsner from the local brewery Market Garden ($4) and Miller Lite ($3).

Doesn't that bar look inviting? Don't you see yourself sitting there while enjoying a glass of nice wine?

Cha's happy hour menu is available Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM.

If you want to check out the restaurant, Cha is located at 2054 Fulton Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113.
