This Popular Restaurant in Cleveland is Now Offering a Weekend Brunch Menu

Are you looking for a new weekend brunch spot?

If the answer is yes, you might want to check out Sora, a popular Asian fusion restaurant located in the Flats.

Having celebrated its first-year anniversary earlier this month, Sora recently announced a new brunch menu for Saturdays and Sundays. The menu aims to offer a unique spin on several breakfast staples.

If you're a fan of chicken and waffles, you might like Sora's karaage and waffles. Karaage is Japanese-style fried chicken, and the dish also includes waffle bites drizzled with Thai basil honey. Another fried chicken dish that Sora is offering for brunch is the chicken katsu sando, a sandwich on a brioche bun with a panko-crusted chicken thigh, wasabi pickles, and yuzu mayo.

In addition, the menu has bao bun benedict, Sora's take on eggs Benedict. Their dish replaces the traditional English muffin with a griddled bao bun and adds the tart flavor of the citrus fruit yuzu to hollandaise sauce.

And instead of the corned beef hash you see at many other restaurants in Greater Cleveland, Sora is offering salmon hash made with soy brown sugar glazed salmon, sweet potato, shiitake mushroom, arugula, fried egg, and sesame seeds.

For those who prefer a sweeter brunch, Sora is also offering ube pancakes with berries and whipped cream and an apple bao donut with pear-apple compote, cinnamon sugar, and rosemary.

And if you like booze with your brunch, Sora has got you covered there as well. Their cocktail menu includes classic drinks such as a traditional Bloody Mary and a traditional mimosa with orange juice. The menu also includes a Bloody Mary with wasabi plus soy sauce and lime juice (the Wasabi Mary), matcha mimosa (which is made with matcha honey, ginger liqueur, and sparkling wine), mimosas made with sake instead of sparking wine, a lychee mimosa (which is made with lychee liqueur, yuzu, passion fruit tea, and sparkling wine), and more.

Brunch will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM. To make a reservation, go on OpenTable.
