These Places in Ohio Make Great Steaks

Are you in the mood for steak?

If you're in the state of Ohio, you should check out these places (this list is not at all exhaustive!).

York Steak House

This place in central Ohio is nothing fancy, but it serves delicious food. Formerly part of a large national chain, this restaurant is the last remaining York Steak House in the nation.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, tasty meal, you can't go wrong with a sirloin tips dinner, which also comes with a trip to the salad bar, potato, and a roll. For not much more, you can get an 8-ounce sirloin steak dinner, and for only a few more bucks, you can get a 10-ounce ribeye dinner.

If you have room for dessert, check out their pies and cakes, which are homemade.

The Lonely Pine Steakhouse

If you find yourself in southwestern Ohio, this place is a fantastic option for steak.

The Lonely Pine Steakhouse uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Customers love the cowboy ribeye, which is a big 32-ounce dry-aged steak that's premium wagyu beef. If 32 ounces might be too much beef for you, you can get the petite tender, which can be either a 4-ounce or 8-ounce wagyu steak.

Other steaks they offer are a 25-ounce dry-aged porterhouse and a 20-ounce dry-aged bone-in New York strip. Optional toppings for your steak are herb butter, horseradish cream, blue cheese, and dry-aged tallow butter.

If you want a stunning start to your meal, customers strongly recommend getting the bone marrow appetizer.

Pine Club

Since 1947, this local establishment has been serving fabulous steaks that have earned it well-deserved national acclaim.

Check out their signature bone-in ribeye, which is full of flavor. You also can't go wrong with the filet mignon or porterhouse. Each dinner comes with a salad, your choice of dressing (they offer the house dressing, French, Thousand Island, and ranch, all of which are homemade), your choice of stewed tomatoes or the vegetable of the day, and freshly baked bread and salt sticks.

If you can't make the trip to the steakhouse, Pine Club also offers nationwide delivery of their steaks.
