It's Lenten season, and that means it's the season for delicious fish fry!

If you're in the mood for great fried fish, you should check out these places in Greater Cleveland.

P.J. McIntyre's Irish Pub

You should consider checking out this pub on the westside for your next Friday fish fry. During Lent, this place is offering delicious specials such as their $15.99 perch dinner, which features great lake perch, steak fries, house-made tartar sauce, and coleslaw. You can also get their fish and chips (also $15.99), which include battered and fried haddock, steak fries, house-made tartar sauce, and coleslaw. They're also offering delicious lobster mac and cheese that's made with 3 kinds of cheese (cheddar jack, white American, and parmesan).

On Friday nights during Lent, you will find this place in Olmsted Falls packed with people. And that's because people love their delicious fish fry. Check out their great cod dinners. For baked cod, it's $15 per dinner for adults and $9 per dinner for children. For fried cod, it's $14 per dinner for adults and $8.50 per dinner for children. In addition to cod, each dinner comes with your choice of baked potato or fries plus your choice of coleslaw or applesauce and bread with butter. A great takeout option is their family pack, which includes 3 pieces of fried fish, 3 pieces of baked fish, 24 fried shrimps, 3 baked potatoes, French fries, 12 ounces of coleslaw, 12 ounces of applesauce, bread with butter, and a quart of mac and cheese for $80.

Twisted Taino Restaurant

If you want a unique fish fry, you should check out this restaurant in Parma. During Lent, they're offering delicious fish fry specials on Fridays and Saturdays. Check out their Escabeche fish fry, which consists of a fried king fish filet that's served on top of an octopus seafood salad (in addition to octopus, the salad comes with conch meat and shrimp) and topped with pickled bell peppers and onions. The meal also comes with a side of your choice (you can't go wrong with the mofongo bites, street corn, sweet plantains, yuca fries, or tostones) and coconut shrimp. They're also offering Chillo Relleno, which features a whole deep-fried Caribbean red snapper filled with creole shrimp that's served with a salad and a side of your choice.
