Resch's Bakery

If you're in central Ohio, you can't go wrong with Resch's Bakery, which has been around for over a century and is considered one of the finest bakeries in the area. They're known for their fantastic donuts. You can't go wrong with a classic glazed donut. Customers also enjoy the bow tie donuts, apple fritters, and French crullers. The bakery also makes delicious cakes for special occasions from scratch, pies, cream horns, and Danish pastries. If you don't have much of a sweet tooth, the bakery has great bread, including pretzels, bagels, garlic breadsticks, and more.

As the name of this place in southwestern Ohio would suggest, if you want scrumptious cakes and pastries, you should visit this bakery. Customers can't get enough of the establishment's cream horns, baklava, and cupcakes. You can expect to find cupcake flavors like Boston cream, chocolate English toffee, red velvet, and more. The bakery also makes beautifully decorated cakes for special occasions. Be sure to bring cash as the bakery doesn't accept credit cards.

Pure Love Bakery

If you're craving a sweet treat, you can't go wrong with this place. Customers love their donuts, which are made fresh daily. They offer great cake donuts (patrons find the Fruity Pebble cake donut particularly delicious; in addition to being topped with the cereal, the vanilla cake donut is covered in the bakery's homemade vanilla icing), cream sticks (the bakery offers flavors such as cinnamon toast, caramel, vanilla, peanut butter, butter pecan, and more), and yeast raised donuts (check out the maple bacon, apple fritters, and honey buns). They also have delectable cupcakes, cookies, and fry pies. If you don't have much of a sweet tooth, check out their savory pizza rolls. And if you're looking for a treat for your dog, they make puppy-friendly cupcakes.
