Are you looking for a delicious gyro?

If the answer is yes, you should check out these places in Ohio.

South Side 6

Located in northwest Ohio, this local favorite is famous for their tasty and huge gyros. Patrons love the lamb gyro, which is stuffed with meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and their gyro sauce. They also have a great chicken gyro and the gyro burger, which has a large beef patty, gyro meat, gyro sauce, feta cheese, onions, tomato, and lettuce. If you have room for dessert, check out the baklava.

Yanni's Greek Restaurant

If you find yourself in the central part of the state, you should check out the gyros at this family-owned restaurant. Their classic gyros come in small, large, and jumbo sizes. You also can't go wrong with one of their chicken gyros. Yanni's also offers the gyro platter, which comes with gyro meat served on top of shredded lettuce and tomatoes and topped with onions, their homemade dressing, fries, and a piece of pita bread.

Greek Village Grille

This restaurant in Northeast Ohio serves some of the best gyros in the area. You can get their gyros "regular style" (tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce) or "dirty style" (onion, yellow mustard, and fries). Their American gyro is delicious and comes with a mix of lamb and beef. If you want something more authentic, the Greek gyro is also great and has thinly sliced marinated pork. If you're feeling particularly adventurous and hungry, the restaurant also offers the Mount Olympus, a massive 8-pound gyro that is stuffed with meat and fries.

Greek Village Grille is located at 14019 Madison Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107.

Chicago Gyros and Dogs

If you find yourself in the southwestern part of the state, you can satisfy your gyro craving at this restaurant. They have the classic gyros with gyro meat, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce. If a cheesesteak-inspired gyro sounds appealing to you, check out the Philly gyro, which comes with the gyro meat, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, provolone, and mayo. They also have a traditional chicken gyro and a chicken version of the Philly gyro.

Chicago Gyros and Dogs has two locations: Beavercreek (3979 Indian Ripple Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45440) and Cincinnati (201 W McMillan St, Cincinnati, OH 45219).
