4 Places To Get Great Breakfast in the Cleveland Area

Isla Chiu

There are so many great diners in Greater Cleveland that serve delicious breakfast.

Here are 4 of them, listed in no particular order (and this list is by no means exclusive!):

Kristina's Family Restaurant

This restaurant on the westside serves fantastic breakfast. If you like biscuits and sausage gravy, customers highly recommend getting Kristina's biscuits with their homemade sausage gravy. You also can't go wrong with one of their skillets. Patrons love the Meat Lovers skillet (grilled sausage, bacon, ham, gyro meat, and melted American cheese served over a bed of home fries and three eggs) and Lorain Ave skillet (grilled onions, green peppers, melted American cheese, and biscuit with sausage gravy served over a bed of home fries and three eggs).

Kristina's Family Restaurant is located at 9912 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102.

Red Chimney

If you're in Cleveland's Slavic Village and hungry for breakfast, you can't go wrong with this local favorite. If you're looking for something cheap yet filling, you can't go wrong with the Chimney Breakfast Special, which includes two eggs, your choice of three sausage links or three slices of bacon or a slice of ham, your choice of home fries or grits, toast, and jelly for under 5 dollars. Remember to bring cash; the Red Chimney doesn’t accept credit cards.

The Red Chimney is located at 6501 Fleet Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105.

Landmark Restaurant

Clevelanders love this diner that serves great versions of breakfast staples like omelets and blueberry pancakes. If you're utterly ravenous, go for the Hungry Man (three eggs, three hotcakes or three slices of French toast, three pieces of bacon, and three sausages for under 10 bucks) or Double Vision (two hotcakes, two slices of French toast, two eggs, and your choice of two pieces of bacon or two sausage links or one sausage patty for, again, under 10 bucks).

Landmark Restaurant is located at 5380 St Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103.

L.A. Pete's

If you ever find yourself in Independence, L.A. Pete's is a great breakfast option. A customer favorite is the Cuyahoga Heights, a skillet that's filled with potatoes, sausage gravy, sausage, green peppers, onions, combo cheese, and two basted eggs. Their French toast is also fantastic; try the pecan French toast or cinnamon apples French toast.

L.A. Pete's is located at 6080 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131.
