We're almost halfway through May, and the weather is (finally) getting warmer in Northeast Ohio.

If you're looking for sweet treats to help you cool off, here are some great locally-owned businesses in Greater Cleveland that serve delicious ice cream.

Honey Hut Ice Cream

This local chain is a favorite of Northeast Ohio residents. Their fantastic ice cream is sweetened with locally-sourced honey. They always serve their regular 13 flavors: vanilla, chocolate, honey pecan, chocolate pecan, chocolate peanut butter, mint chocolate chip, cookies & cream, sea salt caramel, banana, chocolate chocolate chip, strawberry, coconut, and orange blossom. In addition, they serve rotating special flavors every two weeks. Right now, you can get scoops of banana peanut butter, red raspberry chip, and blueberry crumble.

Mason's Creamery

Mason's Creamery serves delicious house-made ice cream made in small batches. They have unique rotating flavors such as mango pudding, ube, rosemary olive oil, and Thai tea. They also make great bubble waffles and vegan ice cream. During the winter, the ice cream shop becomes a fantastic ramen place.

Charlie & Tango Ice Cream & Smoothies

This shop in Brook Park offers great ice cream in a variety of flavors. They have classic flavors like strawberry and cookies & cream, and specialty flavors like brown butter bourbon truffle and oatmeal raisin cookie. If you're not in the mood for ice cream, they also serve smoothies, and if you want, you can add boba to your smoothie.
