Goody's is a family-owned restaurant that's a few minutes away from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. On Saturdays and Sundays, Goody's parking lot is always packed. And when I dined there the other day, I saw why.

I didn't go to Goody's on a Saturday or Sunday, so I was able to secure a parking space. As soon as I walked in, I was shown to a table.

Almost immediately after I sat down, my friendly server asked me if I wanted anything to drink. Since it was early in the morning and I'm somewhat of a caffeine addict, I said, "Coffee please." Goody's coffee was nice and strong, and my cup was rarely empty because my server kept coming with the refills.

For food, I got the Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and three sausage links. The scrambled eggs and sausage came on a separate plate from the waffle, but for a minute, I put all of the food on one plate because it made for a somewhat more aesthetically pleasing photo (have to do it for the gram!).

The waffle was great. It was golden and crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The eggs were cooked perfectly—no rubbery and overcooked scrambled eggs here—and the sausage was juicy and tasty.

If you're driving along Snow Road in Brook Park and thinking of getting breakfast at McDonald's, keep on driving and stop at Goody's instead. At Goody's, you can still get a good-sized breakfast for under 10 dollars, and the breakfast will also be a lot better. Plus, you get free refills of your coffee and free smiles from your friendly server.

There is a reason why so many locals drive into Goody's parking lot on the weekend. And when you visit the restaurant and get a meal there, you'll discover the reason.

Goody's is located at 16333 Snow Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142.
