Prince Harry 'Brainwashed' and 'Blindsided'
The ongoing rift between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, appears to be far from healing, according to Omid Scobie, the unofficial biographer of Harry and Meghan.
Despite rumors of reconciliation, Scobie contends that the relationship is "beyond repair," with Prince William allegedly viewing his brother as a "defector."
In his upcoming book, "Endgame," Scobie shares insights into the strained relationship between the brothers, suggesting that William feels Harry and Meghan "blindsided the family" by going public with their disagreements with the royals.
The book, scheduled for release later this month, also provides new details about the events surrounding the queen's death, painting a picture of Harry being deliberately kept out of the loop by his family.
Scobie's revelations are based on interviews with sources close to the royals, as well as excerpts from his book. He claims that Prince William's resentment towards Harry has "hardened" into "indifference," and that he has taken to mocking their "oh so California self-importance."
The biographer also shares that Prince William feels "betrayed and sad," and that he no longer recognizes Harry, whom he believes has been "brainwashed" by therapy.
This perception has been further fueled by the release of Harry's memoir, "Spare," which has not helped mend the brothers' relationship.
Scobie's book also paints a picture of Harry being left out of crucial family updates, such as the queen's deteriorating health. He was allegedly kept in the dark until receiving a call from Prince Charles, urging him to travel to Balmoral.
Despite attempts to coordinate travel plans with his brother, Harry received no response from William and was forced to charter a private plane alone.
