Harry's Nostalgia for the UK
A royal expert has suggested that Prince Harry may be considering a return to his homeland, the United Kingdom, due to feelings of isolation and loneliness in his current residence of California.
This surprising claim was made by journalist Phil Dampier, who asserts that he has received information from a reliable source indicating the Duke of Sussex's struggle to adapt to life in the United States.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, relocated to the Montecito district of Santa Barbara in July 2020. The couple, along with their two children, four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilbet, have been living there since their departure from the UK.
Dampier shared his insights, stating, "I'm told on good authority that he's quite lonely. He's quite isolated in California." He further speculated that Harry's social life has become heavily dependent on Meghan, and the lack of a close-knit group of friends has had an impact on him.
The journalist also noted that Harry is often seen with "corporate types, people that he works with," rather than a group of personal friends. As the holiday season approaches, marking the third Christmas Harry will spend away from his family, Dampier believes the isolation is taking a toll on the Duke.
Photos of the family trick-or-treating, with Archie holding his dad's hand and dressed as a skeleton, have circulated widely on social media, painting a different picture of the Duke's life in California.
