Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane

The Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is an absolute oasis in the heart of London’s Mayfair District. Modern hotel overlooking Mayfair gardens, glass-wall rooftop spa with views of Hyde Park; stroll away from the three royal parks. We’ve been to many other properties of Four Seasons group around the world but this was our first time visiting at Park Lane and we were in for quite a treat!

Four Seasons hotels are known for many great things but the one thing that they excel at is providing the highest standard for service. I can't count how many times our hotel experience was ruined because of bad service.

When you step into a Four Seasons hotel you are treated like you are the only guest they have and everyone is there to make your stay an unforgettable one.

The Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is no different, from the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted by your name. Then you are escorted to your room by one of the friendly front desk staff.

Many of the rooms at the Five-Star Four Seasons are appointed with small private balconies, allowing you to take in the view of the London Eye, Big Ben and the treetops of Green Park al fresco. The hotel has a contemporary, warm design, with earth tones and luxurious textures used throughout.

Eating at 4 Seasons Hotel :

“Amaranto” restaurant at FS Hotel at Park Lane, offers an Italian a la carte menu alongside continental breakfasts and brunches. For breakfast, we had the poached eggs with gluten-free bread and avocado and house pancakes with chocolate chips and Nutella.

We dined at chic Amaranto Restaurant both nights of our stay — where Italian cuisine meets English flair. We started off with “Beef Carpaccio” comprising Pickled Girolles, Parmesan, Rocket and “Carciofi Alla Giudea” a traditional Roman plate which is grilled artichoke with Pecorino Romano and aïoli.

For mains, we tried “Pappardelle with Genovese Ragu”, which is homemade pasta with beef sauce and Beef Filet comprising Parsnip cream, Ceps mushrooms and Red wine jus. We also try lamb rump comprising Potato terrine, Jerusalem artichoke and Baby onion.

After all these delicious plates we finished our dinner with Tiramisù.

The Spa :

Unless you’re planning to use the vitality pool in the spa, you won’t find a pool at the luxury hotel.

The spa’s location on the 10th floor of the popular London hotel places you a world away from the city’s bustling streets. Each guest arriving in the city spa is offered an energising pear, ginger and basil shot to enjoy while filling out a consultation form.

The pool, sauna and steam rooms are gender-segregated but there are no separate female and male relaxation lounges at The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane; instead, you enjoy a coed pre-treatment lounge with soft loungers, a fireplace and hot tea at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa.

The lovely sauna features a window overlooking the city and three benches with pillows for guests who want to lie down.

Don’t worry about bringing your own toiletries because the locker room is filled with body lotion, razors, combs, cotton products, hair styling products and more are all available to help you get ready.

“Reasons to love the Four Seasons are the fine attention to detail, unfussy—yet first-class—service and ritzy location!
