Colorado Architecture firm, F9 Productions was commissioned in October of 2020 to design this 3,500 square-foot 3 bedroom and 3.5-bathroom custom home near Evergreen, Colorado. Some of the featured design elements include the floor-to-ceiling windows that provide phenomenal southern mountain views and natural lighting. Long roof overhangs protect the house from heavy snowfall, while also providing shade from the high summer sun.
The basement floor plan, shown below, includes an open family room, mechanical room, storage, flex room, along with a full bathroom. The flex room was designed to allow for future growth and the possibility of adding another bedroom if ever needed.
Moving up to the main floor, this floor features a two-car garage, open kitchen, living, and dining room concept, walk-in pantry, storage, personalized banquette, two bedrooms with a shared full bathroom, half bath, master suite complete with a walk-in closet, and full master bathroom, and an enormous walk out deck that provides breathtaking mountain views.
The open floor concept draws your eyes to the floor-to-ceiling windows and allows for a more spacious feeling. As shown below, the living and banquette area are a focus point of this design. The giant twelve-foot sliding glass door allows for natural airflow throughout the space. Finally, this project would not be complete without the wrap around deck that looks out to the Southeast providing early morning sunrise views.
Construction of this custom project is on hold until financing can be secured but is anticipated to start upon securement.
