Portillo's is a favorite in the hearts of many Chicagoans. But fans of this fast-casual dining restaurant are nationwide. From its humble beginnings as a small hot dog stand in Villa Park, Illinois in 1963, Portillo's has grown into a trailblazing chain, boasting over 70 locations across the United States. Chicago-style food is at the heart of Portillo's menu, offering their popular hot dogs, burgers, and shakes.

Now in over 10 states, Colorado may be next. Colorado station KDVR reports,

According to Portillo’s account director, the restaurant is looking to enter Colorado, including the Denver market for the first time. While no specific timeline was shared, the company expects to open eight locations by the end of the year.

Classic burger lovers will be able to dig into a Cheeseburger or Portillo's new Single Rodeo burger with their classic 1/3-pound char-broiled burger on a Brioche Bun including bacon, red onion, onion rings, cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce.

Until then, you may have to make a trip out to visit one of Portillo's locations here.
