The OG and The Rally Bar, both located within The Rally Hotel at McGregor Square has launched a new, exciting offering for Denver locals and guests. The OG introduces a breakfast and brunch menu, complete with American classics, in addition to their lunch menu.

The OG boasts a fun, lively environment. Complete with modern design and greenery, this isn’t your standard “modern restaurant”. It’s clear that the details that make The OG unique have not been left out - booths are decorated with scrabble tiles on the walls, and fun trinkets and drawings hanging above leave a quirky feel. I visited shortly before closing at 3pm, so the bar was clearing out, but I was surprised to see many tables around us still dining.

I ordered a classic, The OG Breakfast - two eggs, toast of your choice, breakfast potatoes, and a choice of bacon, sausage, or avocado. I loved the addition of the choice of fresh avocado!

Their curated food menu expands to also include fresh breakfast items like:

  • Smothered Breakfast Burrito
  • Biscuits & Gravy
  • Steak & Eggs
  • Breakfast Dogs – a fun take of breakfast sausages wrapped in pancake batter and drizzled in maple syrup

Pair it with a cocktails of your choice from their extensive drink menu:

  • Pink-182, made with tequila blanco, Cointreau and grapefruit soda
  • 50 Shades of Earl Grey, with gin, earl grey tea, lemon and honey
  • Rule of Plum, with bourbon, cranberry, lime, orgeat and plum

More into wine? Their wine list consists of 100 percent women-owned and -made wines.

The OG’s elevated boozy shakes selection is always fun:

  • Going Bananas, prepared with Howler Head Monkey Spirit Bourbon
  • Grasshopper, with crème de menthe and crème de cacao
  • PB&J, with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
  • The Love Float, with Not Your Father’s Root Beer

In addition to a variety of new breakfast dishes, sandwiches, soups, salads and shareable plates, The OG’s most popular items remain on the menu, including the Signature Doughnut Sliders, made with 100 percent angus beef, glazed doughnuts from Denver’s local Habit Doughnut Dispensary, bacon, American cheese and onion jam. The OG’s pie case continues to offer a rotating selection of fresh baked items, as well.

Located right next door, The Rally Bar now offers an elevated dinner experience for hotel guests and locals alike.

Located right across from Coors Field, The Rally Bar features a new dinner and drinks menu including playful ballpark twists.

I enjoyed The Heater cocktail, which includes - Milagro Blanco Tequila, Passionfruit, Lime, and Habanero. The space was gorgeous with a giant chandelier overhead and plenty of seating with additional tables surrounding the bar.

If you’re wanting to pair your drink with dinner The Rally Bar offers a nice variety such as:

  • 8oz. Hanger Steak
  • Fish n’ Chips
  • Spanish PEI Mussels
  • The Rally Burger
  • Butternut Squash Ravioli

Along with small plates, appetizers and desserts. Enjoy hyper-local craft beers and fun cocktail options.

Executive Chef Stephen Greer had this to say about the updated menus,

“At The OG, we chose to channel our nostalgic charm to reconstruct the menu to focus on what we represent best – breakfast, the most important meal of the day,” said Greer. “Meanwhile, the ambiance at The Rally Bar is perfectly suited for a sultry dinner experience. With the changes, one thing remains the same: The impeccable quality of the food at both concepts.”

Overall, if you’re looking for a date night or are visiting the area for a game - The OG and The Rally Bar are a must. A fun, upscale environment with breakfast or dinner & drinks will leave you with a great experience!
