10-Year-Old Hero Saves Drowning 5-Year-Old in Spectacular Poolside Rescue

On a sunny afternoon, ten-year-old Junior was playing with his friends when he noticed something unusual. A young girl, later identified as five-year-old Egypt, was struggling in the pool. Without hesitation, Junior sprang into action. 

He dived into the water and pulled Egypt to safety, alerting nearby adults to the emergency and staying with her until help arrived.

Egypt's mother, overwhelmed with gratitude, described the terrifying moment when she realized her daughter was in danger. 

"I was so scared. My baby was not breathing, she was doing nothing, not moving," she said. "I watch stories like this all day every day and it could've been my story. But you know my story came out a blessed story because of him. I'm so blessed."

For Junior, the incident was just another day at the pool. When asked about his heroic actions, he humbly brushed them off, saying 

"I just acted. I didn't think about anything. I got her to the stairs and said she was drowning and they started doing CPR."

Despite his modesty, Junior's bravery and quick thinking have earned him the admiration of not only Egypt and her family, but of many others as well. 

He is a true hero, and his selfless actions have undoubtedly made a lasting impact on those around him
