How to Make a Huge Stromboli at Home

I used my favorite Homemade Pizza Dough recipe to make this delicious Stromboli that everyone loved so much. After making the dough and allowing it to rise, deflate and roll out the dough. You can make one long Stromboli or two smaller ones. After rolling it out with a rolling pin, later desired toppings. I used seasoned sauce (go light on the sauce), meats, cheeses, onion, mushrooms, and black olives. When you start layering on the toppings, leave a 1 inch border on the bottom and sides and a 3 inch border on top. This part will be brushed with egg wash to help the ends stick. After rolling, brush top with egg wash and sprinkle with oregano, pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, and sesame seeds. Using a sharp knife, cut slits on the top to help the steam escape. Bake for about 30 minutes at 400F. If the Stromboli turns brown before then, cover top loosely with aluminum foil.
