I’m not a fan of store bought doughnuts mainly because they are WAY too sweet but homemade is a different story! All 3 components (dough, cream, and ganache) are made at home and the full step by step recipe is on inaeatsin.com 

2 ½ cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp granulated sugar
⅔ cups warm milk 90°F-110°F
2 ¼ tsps active dry yeast
4 tbsp melted butter
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
2 quarts neutral oil for frying

Boston Cream Filling:
6 egg yolks
½ cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar
¼ cups corn starch
2 cups whole milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter

Chocolate Ganache:
4 oz semisweet chocolate chips
⅓ cup heavy cream

Mouthwatering Cream Filled Donuts 


I used my favorite Homemade Pizza Dough recipe to make this delicious Stromboli that everyone loved so much. After making the dough and allowing it to rise, deflate and roll out the dough. You can make one long Stromboli or two smaller ones.

After rolling it out with a rolling pin, later desired toppings. I used seasoned sauce (go light on the sauce), meats, cheeses, onion, mushrooms, and black olives.  When you start layering on the toppings, leave a 1 inch border on the bottom and sides and a 3 inch border on top. This part will be brushed with egg wash to help the ends stick.

After rolling, brush top with egg wash and sprinkle with oregano, pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, and sesame seeds. Using a sharp knife, cut slits on the top to help the steam escape.

Bake for about 30 minutes at 400F. If the Stromboli turns brown before then, cover top loosely with aluminum foil.

How to Make a Huge Stromboli at Home

To make the cheese sauce: 8oz shredded applewood smoked cheddar, 1/2 cup parmesan, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 1/c cup heavy cream. Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Da n medium heat, whisk until cheese has melted. Set aside.
To make the meat sauce: 1 yellow onion, chopped, 1 lb ground beef, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 24 oz tomato sauce, 1/3 cup parmesan cheese. In a saucepan, cook onions until softened. Add ground beef and cook until it has changed in color. Then add tomato sauce, seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Stir and let simmer for 2-4 minutes on low heat.
1package oven-ready lasagna sheets, sliced mushrooms (optional), 2 cups shredded mozzarella. In a 9x13 in baking dish, layer lasagna sheets, then cheddar cheese sauce, then meat sauce, then mushrooms. Repeat layers 3 times. On top of the last layer of lasagna sheets, a small amount of left over meat sauce and cheddar cheese sauce. Finally top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake covered at 375°F for 25 minutes. You’ll need a good pizza dough recipe, some shredded cheese, and some butter or olive oil. To make the dough, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let the dough rise for 1 hour. To make the stuffed crust, roll the dough out into a circle. Place the shredded cheese around the edge of the circle, leaving a 1-inch gap between the cheese and the edge of the dough. Fold the edge of the dough over the cheese and press down to secure.

To make this dip, start by sautéing diced onions and garlic in butter. Then, add flour to form a thick like paste consistency. Pour whole milk, salt, and pepper then whisk until thickened. Add parmesan cheese, spinach, grated white cheddar and mix on low heat. The spinach will release juices to make the dip perfect consistency. spinach in a bowl and top with the creamy sauce. Serve the favorite chips or crackers.

This Feta cheese stuffed pull apart bread is a great appetizer for the Christmas holidays ahead. I love this combination with feta cheese because of the intense flavor. I topped it with smoked kielbasa and it was an absolute hit!
Ingredients:
• 1 cup warm milk
• 2 tsps sugar
• 1 package yeast
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 3 1/2 - 4 cups flour
• 2 tsps salt
• feta cheese crumbs
•cooked kielbasa (optional)

Egg wash:
•1 egg
•1 tbsp mustard
•oregano
•red pepper

Optional: sesame seeds

Christmas Eve Appetizer: Feta Stuffed Pull Apart Bread

Chocolate Dipped Ritz PB Sandwich Cookies - easy and perfect for those sweet n’ salty dessert lovers!
•1/2 cup Peanut Butter
•3 Tbsp powdered sugar
•20 Ritz crackers 
•1 1/2 cup Semi sweet chocolate chips

Mix together powdered sugar and peanut butter.
Add about 1-2 teaspoons of peanut butter filling on half of the crackers.
Press other half of the Ritz crackers on the peanut butter ones to form sandwiches.
Freeze 30 minutes.
Dip in melted chocolate, add sprinkles, freeze again until chocolate hardens.

This is one of those drinks that you want in the winter that is festive yet cold and it includes coffee! You got that right, frozen hot chocolate with everyone’s favorite ingredient-coffee. In a blender, blend together 1 cup of ice cubes, 1 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons hot cocoa mix, and 2 teaspoons of instant coffee. For a thicker consistency, add more ice. For a sweeter taste, add more hot cocoa mix or chocolate syrup! Top with whipped cream and enjoy 😋

•2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
•3/4 cups chopped pecans
•1/2 tsp salt
•1 cup butter, softened
•1/2 cup powdered sugar
•1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
•1 tsp vanilla extract 

More powdered sugar for dusting
Optional: Vanilla sugar

Mix together flour, pecans, and salt. Set aside.
Using a mixer, beat softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add orange juice and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
Add in dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
Roll into balls.
Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar.
Dust with powdered sugar again before serving
