Our "Dinerbar on Clifton" Experience in Cleveland, OH

Ina Eats In

We took a trip to Ohio last weekend and arrived there just in time for brunch. After browsing on Google, we stumbled upon a Dinerbar on Clifton located on 11801 Clifton Blvd, Cleveland, OH. Parking most definitely leaves a first impression and parking on Clifton Blvd wasn't the best experience. Not only was it a busy street with multiple lanes, there were very minimal parking spots in their actual parking so like us, you would most likely have to parallel park on the side of the road.

Aside from parking, the "Sleek & Stylish" diner seemed to take COVID restrictions seriously. All guests waiting to be seated had to wait outside. For us, that was not a problem because it was a beautiful day to spend outside with fresh air.

Wait time.

After checking at the front podium, we were told that the wait would be approximately 15 minutes, which fortunately for us, it was less than 5 minutes. Walking in, social distancing and masks were highly enforced and we all felt safe being inside of Dinerbar. Almost immediately, we were greeted by the very friendly waitress and were given waters and menus.

The Menu.

The menu was one of the reasons why this was a great option for brunch that included 4 people. All of us wanted different foods to eat. Some wanted breakfast food that included eggs and sausage, another wanted a burger, and I settled for a sandwich. I highly recommend the Dinerbar on Clifton if you don't have your mind sent on a meal because they have choices for everyone.

My meal of choice was a Manhattan Turkey Reuben with a side of sweet potato fires. The Reuben sandwich was phenomenal. This sandwich included sliced turkey, Swiss cheese, and coleslaw on grilled marble rye. It was a very tasty, non traditional Reuben that was a very satisfying lunch. The sweet potato fries were also very tasty and the serving size was rather large so you would be sure that you are not leaving hungry.

I also tried Truffle fries for the first time and I was in love. These perfect cut fries were tossed in truffle oil and topped with Parmesan cheese. They were extremely flavorful and I highly recommended you try them.

Overall, I think that the Dinerbar at Clifton is a wonderful spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or even dinner because they have a great menu with numerous options available for everyone.
