If there is one thing Madonna can boast of, it is an extensive career with which she has achieved 50 number 1 hits in the charts. Her songs are recognizable by several generations and have transcended the world of music. Therefore, to "vindicate her place" in the history of pop, as the record label Warner Music points out, she is releasing a new album in which she reinterprets her most important hits.
The new album is called Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, and contains 16 compilations of his favorite remixes of songs like Like a Prayer. It features collaborations with artists such as Maluma and Britney Spears, and is available today in digital format. The album will not be available physically until August 19.
To announce and promote this new work, the queen of pop organized an event at New York's Terminal 5 to support the LGTBI community during Pride month. Madonna had the collaboration of Saucy Santana in a new remix of Material Girl, and Tokischa in the remix of Hung up.
At the end of the show, Madonna and Tokischa gave each other a passionate kiss that went viral on social networks. Many users remembered the kiss shared by Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the MTV Awards in 2003. Throughout four decades Madonna has made different generations dance and this compilation reflects the dance side of all her hits. The artist has personally chosen the repertoire of Finally Enough Love, which contains her favorite remixes of those hits. The album encompasses her entire reign on the dance floor, with remixes from some of the world's top producers.
The repertoire on Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones runs mainly in chronological order and showcases the various reinventions that have made Madonna a global icon; from Holiday (2019) to I Don't Search I Find (2019). The list of remixers includes DJs and producers such as Bob Sinclar, William Orbit, Honey Dijon, Avicii or Felix Da Housecat.
