If you’re looking for the ultimate all-inclusive family holiday in paradise it’s hard to beat Club Med Kani. It was our second time at the resort and was even better than we remembered. The all inclusive resort is just a short speedboat ride from the international airport. As soon as we set foot on the jetty we were awed by the pristine clear waters and abundant marine life, friendly and welcoming ambiance, and plethora of activities for all ages. Our family of four shared two comfortable and modern beach villas which were spacious and had direct access to the stunning white sand beach. We made full use of the chic indoor and outdoor areas and loved walking through the sand to the resort’s main pool and all day dining restaurant.
We filled our days with water sports, twice daily snorkelling excursions to different locations, family trapeze lessons, nightly performances, and even an enchanting white party. The best part is it is all included in the all inclusive package. Our children have rated Club Med Kani’s Mini Club as one of their favourites out of all the islands. The full schedule is endless and the best part is they are barely indoors. The Mini Club crew take the kids out for snorkelling in the house reef, sandcastle competitions, sailing expeditions, circus and trapeze sessions, and a fun splash time in the pool. Your children can even dine with the team and their friends so you can relax and enjoy a date night during your stay. Both our children made many friends from all over the world and a memory bank of unforogettable times.
Dining is another huge highlight of the resort. Kani’s mouthwatering buffet restaurant, The Vehli, serves gourmet fare three times a day. The selection constantly changes and most of it is freshly made and plated for you at each station. We savoured authentic French, Indian, Maldivian, and Chinese dishes throughout our stay and there was always something to please the little ones. Quality and service is a huge emphasis at the resort and we could see it throughout every meal and through the hard work of the team. If you’re looking to dine overwater check out their a la carte dining restaurant The Kandu where you’ll have dinner while watching reef sharks and tropical fish swim by. There is also a late breakfast session, an afternoon and late night snack bar, and even sunset appetisers at the bar before dinner begins. A perfect location for foodies.
