Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant
Mott 32 has always been one of our favourite restaurants in Hong Kong so we couldn’t wait to return and indulge in the incredible menu upon our return to the vibrant city. The iconic restaurant has expanded to seven worldwide locations and has gone through a refurbishment for the first time in 9 years. Award Winning interior designer, Joyce Wang Studio has returned to refresh the restaurant’s modern meets traditional look creating the ideal ambiance for Cantonese fine dining. The main bar and dining room feature elegant and decadent details enveloping the discerning diner in a stylish and intimate ambiance. They have also enhanced the five private dining rooms each with their own theme and narrative fusing Chinese tradition and Western flair.
As alway the elevated Chinese fare is the highlight of the experience with the rich and tender Barbecue Iberico Pork with Yellow Mountain Honey, and fragrant and juicy Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck as the unforgettable stars of the show. We also highly recommend their dim sum collection including indulgent Soft Quail Egg Siu Mai with Iberico Pork and Black Truffle, and delicate Scallop Dumplings with Spinach, Prawns and Caviar.
Other favourites included the Crispy Triple-Cooked Wagyu Beef Short Rib and Signature Smoked Black Cod. We couldn’t resist the Signature Lobster Fried Rice to share and our incredible dinner finished with the beautifully presented Bamboo Green Forest and Sesame Chocolate Tart.
The creative cocktail menu can’t be missed and we enjoyed the intricately crafted flavours and ingredients in each drink. Mott 32 consistently delivers the best quality ingredients and exceptional modern Cantonese recipes invoking a dining experience that is truly memorable. A must for anyone visiting Hong Kong that wants a luxurious taste of the city’s flavour.
