We stayed in their Oceanfront Suite, featuring a spacious bedroom, two decadent bathrooms and a separate, spacious lounge and dining area. The suite also had a private wraparound balcony with stunning ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Each room is completed to five star standard with sleek design and luxury amenities.

We loved being just steps from the stylish swimming pool and alluring private beach. Dining options are plentiful at Radisson from a mouthwatering and varied breakfast buffet to elevated Peruvian fare at Mar Adentro and alfresco dining at The Pool Bar. The Grill is a can’t miss for delicious steaks and wood fired pizzas, and we highly recommend sunset cocktails at their picturesque beach.

You’ll be handed bibs by your server preparing you for a feast to remember. The all-you-can-eat menu is on a small sheet of paper and you can check off all you desire while each dish is brought piping hot to your table.

Hawksmoor was on one of our favourite London restaurants and we were very excited to try their NYC location while we were in the city. Known for their dedication to sourcing the best beef and serving “the perfect steak” we were happy to see this impeccably executed at their NY location. As soon we stepped into the ambient dining room we felt enveloped by the buzzing vibe. The sprawling space is located in the United Charles Building and boasts captivating architecture, high ceilings, and dark, sleek interiors.

Note: We were given a complimentary stay at this hotel. Stay in the modern and sleek Westin Times Square and have a family trip to remember in iconic New York City. As soon we drove up to the entrance of The Westin we could feel the buzzing vibes and excitement running through the city. We loved the large open lobby area with cozy social spaces, long tables perfect for co-working, and even dining tables where families can dig into take-out from local spots in the area. You’re surrounding by the shining lights of Times Square and also just a few steps to the shows of Broadway and fun, child friendly shops such as M&M’s World and the sprawling Disney Store. Pick up a NY slice around the corner or check out the many fun eateries and diners that are on the hotel’s front steps. We recommend dining at Foundry Kitchen & Bar located right in the hotel for city views and American comfort food in a stylish setting.

We highly recommend starting with one of their expertly crafted cocktails which paired well with the mouthwatering Chef’s meze platter. The authentic Mediterranean selection was ideal for sharing and bursting with Greek specialities and flavours.

Buddha-Bar New York, located at the heart of Tribeca, brings the brand’s famed music and stylish vibe to the city that never sleeps. As soon we descended the artfully lit steps and gazed at the grand dining room we knew we were going to have an unforgettable evening. We loved the modern and sleek decor, lively energy, and decadent menu. Our mouthwatering dinner started with a selection of the Chef’s Nigiri Selection including cuts of melt in your mouth Scallop and King Salmon. We also enjoyed the unique Hamachi Truffle Roll roll which was both delicate and fragrant. A huge highlight was the indulgent Toro Tartare with Black Kaluga Caviar, Avocado and Sesame Rice Crackers which was a true treat with every bite.

The menu is brimming with tempting options such as high quality beef and pork as well as delicious Korean side dishes and other authentic fare. The staff are always on hand to help you navigate the menu, grill your meat to juicy perfection, and pick the ideal drink pairing to compliment your dining experience.

We can’t resist a dinner at this lively and delicious eatery each time we are in the city and the chef’s tasting menu never disappoints. As soon as we entered the ambient and friendly restaurant we were seated in a cozy booth and introduced to the delicious and authentic Spanish menu. Dishes are served as they’re ready and ideal for sharing with your party. We highly recommend starting with the Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese and a portion of the light and addictive Pan con Tomate.

We can never resist a visit to Boucherie while in NYC and there’s no better time than December when the restaurant is ambient and festive with holiday cheer. We dined at La Grande Boucherie last year and were very excited to check out their West Village branch this time around. The cozy and inviting restaurant was beautifully adorned with sparkling lights and featured several Christmas trees creating a charming and classic vibe. As soon as we entered the friendly staff seated our family and we were enveloped by a buzzing atmosphere and the delicious fragrance of French cuisine.

Note: We were given a complimentary stay at this hotel. Located in one of NYC’s most stylish areas, Gansevoort Meatpacking is an ideal choice for families, couples, or solo travellers craving luxury, comfort, and optimal location during their stay in The Big Apple. We were lucky enough to visit during the lead up to Christmas and loved the festive and cozy vibes. The inviting lobby featured a large Christmas tree and the friendly staff were quick to assist with our check-in and luggage upon arrival. Our family of four stayed in the spacious and grand two bedroom suite which is ideal for those travelling with children. The decadent accommodation featured two large ensuite bedrooms, walk-out balconies overlooking the stunning skyline, a cozy separate lounge and three bathrooms including a decadent bathtub.

Our family settled onto a cozy hightop table and enjoyed the live music and friendly crowd while deciding what to order from the varied and enticing menu. There were plenty of options ideal for sharing as well as gourmet main courses and a variety of flavours and inspired recipes.

Peru Hop is a personalised bus that travels through the entire country bringing travellers to the most sought after destinations and sights on an easy to book and safe journey. The full service company has a variety of itineraries to suit travellers and we loved that they are also very family friendly. For our trip in Peru we chose the Full South from Cusco to Lima. Cusco is one of the most vibrant cities in Peru and a must see for anyone visiting the country. We were enthralled by the historic landmarks, ancient ruins, and welcoming culture. It’s also the ideal jumping off point for seeing Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. After booking our Peru Hop tickets we were given a meeting spot in Cusco and set off on our journey from the unforgettable city to other must see spots before ending up in Peru’s capital.
