Set in 360 acres in the Palm Springs desert, adjacent to the iconic Coachella Valley, is the picturesque and idyllic Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. The sprawling resort is insanely awe inspiring from the minute you drive through the entrance and encompasses all the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable family trip.

We loved our spacious Presidential Suite with connecting room for the Kids featuring a separate lounge, large dining area, and two decadent bedrooms. We were only steps from the refreshing pool and all the facilities of the five star resort. Days were spent lazing under the sun, exploring the beautiful wildlife in the grounds, and taking full advantage of the world class amenities. Our children loved the modern bowling alley and games room and golf enthusiasts will delight at being in such close proximity to the picturesque course.

You’re only a short drive to all the sights, shopping, and dining of Palm Springs, and each seasonal holiday brings fun events and activities hosted by the welcoming and hospitable team. We loved the mouthwatering dining options including irresistible Italian fare at Pinzimini, and cozy evenings under the stars at Fireside Lounge.

If you’re looking for a luxurious and postcard worthy spot for a family vacation head to Palm Springs and spend a few nights at Westin for a trip to remember.

Fireside Lounge

One of our favourite spots while staying at The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa was their Fireside Lounge, perfect for cozy evenings in the desert. Overlooking picturesque views, stunning sunsets, and set in a stylish setting there’s no better way to spend an evening in Rancho Mirage. We loved the inviting fire pits, alluring live music, and varied seating areas creating a relaxing space for couples, families, and groups of friends to enjoy their evenings.

The tempting menu is perfect for sharing and pairs well with wine from their extensive list.  We highly recommend the addictive Chicken Wings, the juicy Brisas Burger, and the irresistibly cheesy Pepperoni Pizza. A great spot to relax, lounge, and enjoy the ambiance while vacationing in the Palm Springs area.

Pinzimini

Delve into decadent Italian fare and fresh seafood at Pinzimini located at the luxurious The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa. We loved the inviting and elegant dining room and stylish patio perfect for date night or a celebratory family dinner. The menu is brimming with tempting dishes including the addictive calamari, fragrant Shrimp Scampi Linguini, and a juicy Ribeye Steak. Make sure to pair your meal with a bottle of wine from their list and save room for a selection of their decadent desserts. The service is impeccable from start to finish and the restaurant is spacious enough for group dining or special events. A great choice if you’re craving Italian dining while staying in the Rancho Mirage or Palm Springs area.

Note: We were given a complimentary stay at this hotel. 1 Hotel Central Park is a luxurious oasis at the heart of NYC. The five star hotel is located across the street from Central Park and just a short walk from 5th Avenue, the Upper East Side, and many of the iconic sights of the city. As soon as we entered through the revolving doors we were enveloped in a calm green sanctuary which felt worlds away from the buzzing busy streets. The friendly staff ensured we had a smooth and quick check-in process while we admired the abundance of indoor plants and natural stylish interiors that accented their cozy lobby.

We loved the impressive drinks selection with some refreshing affordable sake options alongside many boutique brands as well as Japanese whiskies and creative cocktails. The staff are eager to help with recommendations that will go well with your order ensuring you have a perfectly paired meal.

After a fun day of exploring the Meatpacking District of NYC and shopping at Hudson Yards we were excited to visit Kamasu for a delicious Japanese dining experience. The small, sleek sushi spot is tucked away in the buzzing shopping centre and features both an interactive sushi bar and cozy tables perfect for a relaxed lunch or casual dinner. The menu focuses on Temaki, Japanese hand rolls, full of authentic flavours and innovative pairings, but the menu also features a variety of appetisers, Donburi, Maki and Futomaki.

We loved the stylish and eclectic town of Beacon brimming with delicious eateries, trendy cafes, and a unique bar scene. The Duchess feels like a calm oasis at the heart of this town. As soon we entered the classic boutique hotel you are welcomed by warm smiles and a spa like aroma. We loved our charming Dutchess Suite boasting a grand master bedroom and luxurious bathroom, cozy lounge area, and a smaller separate bedroom perfect if you’re travelling with kids.

Split into two stunningly refurbished buildings you’ll find all you need for a five star stay. Our Mill Deluxe Room in the Mill Building boasted stunning high ceilings, sumptuous beds, a minimal modern bathroom, and scenic views of the adjacent Fishkill Creek.

We loved staying at The Wick, located adjacent to the centre of Hudson and all the enticing boutiques, cafes, and restaurants the area has to offer. Set inside a former candle factory we were greeted with a warm and inviting scent from the moment we arrived. We loved the cozy lobby, classic and stylish interiors, and friendly and informative staff.

We loved the sprawling resort catered for those travelling with children. Note: We were given a complimentary stay at this hotel. Conrad New York Downtown, located in NYC’s financial district, was the perfect home away from home for our family while in the city. We loved the modern five star hotel featuring luxurious guest-rooms and a plethora of amenities for the discerning traveller. As we were travelling with our two children we booked two connecting suites which was ideal for a family of four. Each suite was sleek and stylish incorporating a sumptuous bedroom and comfortable lounge space with a large desk, ideal for those who are working while they travel. The decadent bathroom included five star amenities and we loved the addition of the Nespresso coffee maker and state of the art water filter.
