Bocado is the perfect neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar for a cozy date night or enjoyable evening with family. We loved the inviting and intimate setting, engaging bar area, and delicious menu featuring modern American fare, and high quality ingredients.

Highlights of our meal included the Grilled Halloumi with grilled tomato and extra virgin olive oil, the fragrant and fresh PEI mussels sautéed with white wine, scallions & grape tomatoes, the crisp and addictive artichoke with blue cheese dip, the delicately accented Pan Seared Branzino with rainbow carrots, grape tomato, fennel, shallots, capers, and white wine sauce, and the indulgent, juicy and perfectly prepared “Steak and Frites” grilled 12oz NY strip steak with rainbow carrots and hand cut crispy fries.

Other tempting dishes from the menu included the "Bocado Avocado" grilled half avocado, charred plum tomatoes, roasted corn, arugula, cilantro & lemon aioli, the Brussels Sprouts sautéed with Chorizo sausage, white wine, garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese and the Merguez Fettuccine using Mediterranean lamb sausage, broccoli, grape, tomato, basil, Kalamata olives, in white wine sauce.

They also have a Kids Menu full of healthy and hearty options that both our children loved, and an enticing selection of rich and tempting desserts including White Chocolate Mousse with Mango and Passion Fruit and gluten free Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream.

The wine list is not one to miss with many unique and well priced options. An ideal choice for a New York City night at the heart of the Upper East Side.
