Praya Dining, which was recently awarded the prestigious Michelin Plate, was one of our highlights of staying at beautiful Praya Palazzo. The grand property is accessible by their private boat and is one of the most stunning boutique hotels in Bangkok. The restaurant serves mouthwatering signature dishes influenced by Thai Royal Cuisine using refined cooking techniques and only sourcing the best ingredients. We loved the elegant and intimate dining space featuring traditional Thai design and highly recommend their Signature Set Menu during your stay. Each dish was presented in a grand manner and bursting with spice, fragrance and flavour. We were introduced to specialties we hadn't tried previously and loved the intricate details that both pleased and surprised us throughout the dining experience.
Highlights of the menu included the flavourful "La Tiang" an Ancient Snack of Pork, Shrimp and Peanuts Wrapped in Egg Mesh, the crispy "Goong Sarong" Deep-Fried Prawns Wrapped with Egg Noodles, the refreshing "Yam Tawai" Salad of Shredded Chicken and Seven Vegetables Blanched In Coconut Milk, the tender "Pla Nua" Grilled Beef with Betel Leaves and Fresh Herbs, the "Mu Pad Som Siew" Stir-Fried Pork with Forgotten Yellow Chilli Paste, and the fresh "Chu Chee Kung Maenam" Deep-Fried River Prawns with Red Curry Sauce.
A perfect spot for a celebratory meal or romantic date night in the city. Arrive early and grab a drink while the sun sets on the river before heading into the dining room for your luxurious feast.
