Check out The Emporia Restaurant located in the luxurious Emporium Suites by Chatrium for mouthwatering authentic Cantonese fare. The modern and inviting venue offers sparkling city views and an extensive menu including seafood, Peking duck, Dim Sum, and much more.

After a big day of shopping and sightseeing we reserved a luxurious table beside the window at the sophisticated restaurant and settled down for a mouthwatering feast. Luckily we were very hungry as the menu was too tempting to not order plenty of dishes for our eager appetites.

The traditional recipes were authentic and used high quality ingredients bringing us back to our gourmet dinners in Hong Kong. Recommended dishes included the stir fried fish maw with scrambled egg, bean sprout and crab meat, the baked eggplant with minced pork and salted fish casserole, the hot and sour mixed vegetable thick soup Sichuan style, the Stir fried scallop stuffed with shrimp, the pan fried snow fish with soya sauce in hot pan, the braised abalone with Yunnan ham and black mushroom, the braised tofu stuffed with gingko nut and bamboo pith in casserole and the signature Emporia Traditional Peking Duck which comes cooked two ways including deep fried and crispy skin wrapped in pancakes, served with Hoisin sauce, cucumbers and spring onion.

For dessert we finished with the chilled sago cream with cantaloupe Emporia style and the indulgent sesame dumplings in ginger syrup.

Pair your meal with a deep red wine and retreat to your luxury suite at Emporium Suites after the amazing feast. A perfect spot for family lunches or dinners while staying in Bangkok’s vibrant Sukhumvit area.

A safe family layover at Singapore Changi Airport with Aerotel Singapore

Travel has changed a lot since we were on our last International flight in March 2020, and with children we were naturally worried about the new process and hygiene standards throughout our journey. We were so happy to find Aerotel at Singapore Changi Airport for our long layover ensuring not only did our family stay safe and comfortable but we were ready for the next leg of our journey well fed and rested. As soon as we disembarked our plane a member of the Aerotel team were there to greet us at the gate. We did not have to line up in crowded groups or go to any transit zones but were transported by buggy immediately from gate to hotel check-in. The check-in process was quick and easy and before we knew it we were in the comfort of our family room ready for a good night’s sleep. The spacious room incorporated two large bedrooms, full bathroom, and cozy lounge. The room included a complimentary meal for each of us including Kid’s Meal options which were a huge hit with our children. When it was time for our flight the next morning, the lovely team gave us a wake-up call and escorted us by buggy directly to our gate. There is no safer way to have a layover than at Aerotel. The service was informative and helpful and being able to sleep, eat, and relax in the comfort of our room while waiting for our next flight was essential when travelling with young children. Highly recommended for families who are travelling through Singapore.
