We walked through the grand lobby in search of our restaurant and were quickly directed to an intimate table, meticulously set for a quiet date night. The welcoming dining area, featuring authentic and contemporary elements, exudes a comfortable ambiance for the discerning diner. The menu is comprised of classic flavours alongside traditional cooking techniques used in the Royal household. Each plate was delicately presented and every bite was a true treat.
Favourite appetizers included the "Thod Mun Pla Kai Khem" Deep fried fish cakes with salted egg yolk served with cucumber dipping sauce, the "Mieng Bua Luang" Fresh organic lotus leaf wrapped with traditional condiments of dried shrimps, lime, chili, ginger, shallot, shredded coconut shavings, peanuts with savory dipping, plum sauce with shrimp paste and dried coconut, and the "Som Tum Hed Thod" Spicy organic papaya salad and deep fried Sampran organic mushrooms.
