Immerse in a night of Indonesian culture, delve into mouthwatering local dishes, and enjoy an entertaining historical performance sure to excite you and your family. Pasar Senggol at Grand Hyatt Bali is the ideal cultural destination for dining and a theatrical experience. We loved the marketplace set up with dining tables set around the stage and impeccable service from the friendly staff.
First weave through the local artisinal stalls and pick up a souvenir to remember your trip. The accommodating staff will then guide you to your table before introducing the variety of Balinese cuisine and drink specials. Delve into the plentiful and fragrant Indonesian buffet brimming with local flavours and decadent displays.
Must try dishes included the crisp and juicy Babi Guling, fragrant barbecued seafood, vibrant salad selection and satisfying wok fried noodles and rice. Our kids loved the dessert bar with fresh tropical fruits, homemade ice cream, and many local sweets. During our meal the talented entertainers performed a traditional Kecak dance and dramatic show telling the story of Bali, Island of the Gods. The performance differs each night with plenty of animation, dance, and music. The seating set up is much like that of a theatre so it’s easy to feast and watch the show for an exciting family night out. At the end of the night you have the opportunity to get on stage and have your photograph taken with the performers to keep as a wonderful memory.
We highly recommend this for anyone looking to experience Balinese culture and taste local food in a welcoming and child friendly setting.
