Jahe Restaurant, set in the romantic and beautiful gardens of The Pavilions Bali, is an ideal spot for a date night while staying in Sanur. Set amongst lush greenery and blooming flowers, tucked behind Sanur's bustling main street, you'll find this charming oasis. We loved our intimate and quiet gazebo tucked in the corner and adorned with candlelight. The staff were helpful with suggestions from the delicious menu brimming with mouthwatering fare.

Favourite appetizers included the Roasted Pumpkin Salad with Feta, arugula, cashews, the Balinese Corn Fritters with Tomato sambal, turmeric mayo, and the Pavilions Gado Gado with Vegetables, egg, peanut sauce and krupuk.

Recommended mains included the Whole Grilled Jimbaran Snapper with sambal, water spinach and red rice, the Balinese Curry using Garden vegetables, tofu and red rice, the "Ayam Madu" Honey & ginger chicken, snake beans and steamed rice, the Lemongrass Tiger Prawns with Snake beans and lemon basil rice and the Baby Back Pork Ribs with the Chef’secret BBQ sauce, jacket potato, sour cream and chives.

For dessert go for their "Dadar Unti" Balinese Pandan crepes with coconut and plam sugar or the Decadent Brownie using Javanese dark chocolate, vanilla gelato, salted caramel for a satisfying end.

Service was both discreet and efficient and we loved pairing our meal with a bottle of wine from their tempting selection. If you're craving a serene and charming outdoor dining venue or a special date night spot during your stay in Sanur, Jahe is a romantic option you won't want to miss.
