Nelayan Restaurant at Belmond Jimbaran Puri offers a fresh and mouthwatering Mediterranean influenced menu, ideal for beach dining. We love the chic yet relaxed atmosphere and amazing ocean view, which was the perfect addition to our lunch or dinner

Spread across fine white sands, Nelayan Restaurant teases the appetite with freshly caught fish and delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. Piquant Indonesian spices are woven into dishes that use classic French techniques. Seasonal tropical ingredients—coconut, lobster, lemongrass—combine for a culinary immersion that celebrates the best of both worlds.

For appetisers we recommend the Smoked Duck Breast with Lukewarm & pink, crush spiced “Local peanuts”, roasted garlic puree, cherry tomato, shimeji mushroom & “Tamarillo” reduction, and the White Fish Ceviche & Soft Shell Crab with Citrus dressing served with softshell crab Tempura & coconut flakes.

For the main course they have some extremely tempting options including "Caponata a la Siciliana" Classic caponata on grilled marinated eggplant layer served with roasted cherry tomato, mozzarella gratin & baby rucola, "Beef Cheek 73 degree" Soft & tender Wagyu beef cheek cooked Sous-vide, creamy polenta mango and cornichon relish, seasonal vegetable & thyme jus, and Crispy Skin Barramundi Fillet with Fricassee du puy lentils, green pea puree, asparagus cherry tomato, pesto sauce & parmesan crisp.

Don't miss our on their Indonesian sections with classics such as "Be Tongkol Sambal Matah" Seared Bali tuna with Shallot & lemongrass sambal, kaffir lime, crispy shallot served with bean sprout and long bean salad, "Soto Ayam Koya" Famous Indonesian soup, chicken broth with lemongrass and lime leaf flavored chicken breast, boiled egg, glass noodle, bean sprout, potato and crispy shallot, and "Bebek Betutu" Traditional Balinese dish, slow roasted duck leg marinated with 16 local spices wrapped in banana leaf served with steamed rice, sayur urap & condiments on offer.

One of our favourite spots to dine while watching the sunset in Jimbaran
