Kamala Beach is one of the best spots in Phuket to catch that picturesque sunset and we loved stylish and modern Shimmer Beachfront Restaurant for a relaxed and enjoyable evening on the island. Located in luxurious Twinpalms MontAzure the chic venue features uninterrupted sea views, a sophisticated dining space, welcoming bar facing Kamala Beach, and steps that lead right into the long stretch of sand.  The menu is a mouthwatering celebration of flavour, texture, and freshness boasting dishes that can be enjoyed throughout the day. Delve into vibrant and colourful salads, Southern Thai spices, and delectably fresh seafood. Highlights include the Andaman Shrimp Cake "Thod Mun Goong" with Spicy Fresh Fruit Salsa, the Chicken Quesadillas with Mozzarella Cheese, Paprika and Caramelized Pickled Onions, the Spicy Prawns Soup "Tom Yum Goong" with Lemongrass, Galangal, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Chili, Onion, Tomato and Coriander, the Hoisin Marinated Salmon with Chinese kale, lemon, chilli and hoisin sauce, the Australian Beef Rump Steak with Café de Paris, French fries and lemon, the aromatic Clam Soup “Hoi Waan Tom Ta-Krai”, creamy and crisp Soft Shell Crab Stir-Fried with Curry Powder “Poo Phad Phong Karee”, and delicate and delicious Deep Fried Fish with Turmeric “Pla Thod Kamin”. Our kids throughly enjoyed the fresh wood fired pizzas and we couldn’t get enough of the decadent Home Made Crepes. A great choice for relaxed lunches, fun dinners with friends, or an enjoyable night with your family. The staff are both inviting and knowledgable about the varied menu and extremely helpful with picking which dishes will suit you and your family. Make sure to book a table for sunset and stay for the lively beachfront vibes.
