It's interesting how some breeds can e defensive while others seem to care less. Food aggression is a form of resource guarding where dogs get territorial about their food. Dogs can exhibit food aggression and get reactive over their food for all sorts of reasons including dominance or because they become anxious about people or possibly other animals taking their food.
