After being teased for a release in a few weeks on HBO Max, Justice League's Snyder Cut finally unveils a release date.
Since its official announcement, Zack Snyder's Justice League Snyder Cut has been teasing for months while all fans can't wait. The director of Watchmen unveils his film as he goes along, between an umpteenth trailer that goes from colour to black & white, between new images that unveil Steppenwolf's new look to show the differences between the director's cut and the cinema version of Joss Whedon, released in 2017.
One wonders if once the film is released on HBO Max, Zack Snyder will not have already shown everything of his movie, so much the reshoots of his Snyder Cut are mediatized, revealing in passing that Jared Leto will be back as Joker when he was not really expected anymore. And for months now, fans have been waiting for a real release date for the 4-hour Snyder Cut that will be released on HBO Max in the US.
And apparently, the prayers of DCEU fans have been answered, as the filmmaker has just revealed in a tweet a new poster for Justice League's Snyder Cut, this time with a release date of March 18, 2021, on the HBO Max platform in the United States. It was already assumed that the film, which is no longer a 4 episode mini-series but a 4-hour feature film, was due to arrive in March on the Warner Bros. platform after a Snyder Vero post. However, until now, there was still some doubt about the exact date.
We know that the Snyder Cut will be released on March 18, 2021, on HBO Max on American soil. Zack Snyder had shared his ambition to release the feature film in theatres, which now seems difficult given the situation of cinemas in the United States, where 65% of American theatres are currently closed. The Snyder Cut, therefore, has a release date on HBO Max.
Justice League's Snyder Cut is scheduled for release on March 18, 2021, on HBO Max in the United States.
