I bought an Android phone a few days ago. Before purchasing the phone, I read many online reviews of the product to decide which was best for me. Then I made a list of some best laptop models for me. I went to a store to check the product before buying.

In the above scenario, we notice two things; push & pull strategies. I have made a list of some favorite models due to Android phone marketing which means I was pulled. Then I went to the store, which meant I was pushed into choosing the best one.

The word “Pushing” means using force to move something to move an object in the direction of the force. Push marketing is also similar; the companies try to push their product to customers who never think of buying them. This strategy needs a lot of effort because companies must convince customers to buy their products.

Pull marketing is the opposite of push marketing. Here customers need your products, and you must deliver the best. Unlike push marketing, where you must convince your customer and push your products, you need to provide the best in pull marketing. And this is very easy compared to push marketing.

There are thousands of pull marketing examples most businesses run on this strategy. The best examples are:

GoPro: A sports camera brand that is very famous to vloggers around the globe. It is handy, and vlogging is a good hobby and career at the same time. So customers buy this on their own decision.

There is no room for saying one is better than another. It may vary depending on the location or product you are selling. Boat Push and Pull marketing has its own pros and cons. You can gain more loyal customers using a pull strategy, but the growth might need to be faster. On the other hand, using a push strategy, you can gain more customers and sell faster. But there is no guarantee of loyal customers.
