According to The Orange County Register, the In-N-Out Burger franchise opened a new drive-thru location in San Juan Capistrano with an 18th-century motif.
A Closer Look
The new In-N-Out drive-thru opened on Thursday, December 7 at 31791 Del Obispo Street, which is close to Mission San Juan Capistrano and the Blas Aguilar Adobe, each, an historic landmark from the 18th century.
In keeping with that same vision, the new In-N-Out was designed and constructed in a Mission Revival style with domes, archways, and red tile. The words “IN-N-OUT BURGER” are recessed into the wall above the main entrance as opposed to being showcased with an illuminated sign.
The last few years, particularly this year of 2023, have seen the closure of countless business operations; a sad development, indicative of the pandemic residue, and the subsequent increasing economic challenges around the country and throughout the world.
Consequently, the opening of any new restaurant, In-N-Out, and beyond, is welcome good news for the American economy, certainly on a local level in San Juan Capistrano.
