According to the East Bay Times, the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant chain will remove its animatronic musical bands from all of its close to 500 locations except in Northridge, CA.

A Closer Look

The fictional Munche's Make Believe Band will 'perform' only in Chuck E. E. Cheese's Northridge restaurant.

The decision arrives as the famed kids-geared business attempts to remain current with its entertainment facilities which will include a new dance floor, a large video wall, and screen, and popular youth-oriented arcade games.

The last few years, particularly this year of 2023, have seen the various changes and frequent closure of countless business operations; a sad development, indicative of the pandemic residue, and the subsequent increasing economic challenges around the country and throughout the world.

The structural redesigns and mass elimination of the Chuck E. Cheese restaurants are further results of those challenges.
