The world is more divided today than ever, based on opposing opinions. But what purpose do opinions serve if they are not shared with grace?

A Closer Look

Opinions matter. But it's important to express opinions with the highest respect for all concerned. Or else the message that you're seeking to convey gets lost in judgment and anger, and you end up distancing and alienating others. Not only that, what you hope to accomplish falls by the wayside.

Conclusion

Yes, it is important to express oneself and offer opinions. We indeed should stand firm with our position and convictions. But we should do so with dignity, and keep in check what we hope to accomplish by expressing our opinions in the first place.
