Overview
Back in the day, the big fast food campaign battle between Burger King and McDonald's was about who had the fabricated high-concept spokesperson: the King for Burger or Ronald McDonald
Now, two competing billboards representing both franchises are side by side in Brazil.
A Closer Look
According to translated editions of the billboards reported by TheDrum.com, the chatbot describes McDonald's Big Mac as the most "iconic burger" and names Burger King's Whopper "the biggest."
While each advertisement features answers composed by ChatGPT and shares comparable designs with the other, Burger King's billboard appears to be a response to McDonald's launching a more extensive campaign based on the chatbot's reply.
The fast-food company asked OpenAI's chatbot what the most iconic burger in the world was and it named the Big Mac the "most globally recognized." The Big Mac was introduced in 1967 and even has its own index.
The Burger King ad appears to be in close sequence to McDonald's, requesting an answer to this question: "And which is the biggest?" According to the advertisement, The Whopper wins as the largest with regard to size and amount of ingredients.
Conclusion
When it comes to fast food chains or any kind of restaurant, it all comes down to taste. How good is the food? Good business is about solid competition, with each rival working to best the other, in hopes of carving out their own corner in the market.
