According to journalist Nicole Wert and Parade.com, "William Shatner is keeping the Star Trek spirit alive on his 92nd birthday."
As Wert went on to report, "The actor turned 92 on March 22, and so, he took to his Twitter account to thank everyone who wished him a happy birthday on his 'special day. He also cracked a joke that all Star Trek fans will love and appreciate."
"Thank you for the wonderful outpouring of love and well wishes for my special day today! If we were in the mirror universe; today would be my 29th Birthday! Let’s go with that," the legendary actor quipped.Â
Wert also observed how "Fellow actors and celebrity friends previously wished Shatner a happy birthday, and some even shared hilarious stories along the way."Â
"HAPPY 92nd BIRTHDAY to William Shatner, the absolute coolest dude I've ever worked with. I wrote his standup monologue for 'Gotham Comedy Live,'" Jimmy Failla tweeted.
As Wert documented, "Diedrich Bader, best known for his role on The Drew Carey Show shared his wishes alongside a photo of him dressed in drag while standing next to Shatner.
Wert also noted how the Star Trek Twitter account even chimed in with Birthday wishes, writing, "Join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to @WilliamShatner! In celebration, share your favorite Captain Kirk moments. #StarTrekFamily #StarTrek."
Additionally, actor Elias Toufexis tweeted, "Happy NINETY-SECOND BIRTHDAY to fellow Montrealer, the legend that is @WilliamShatner Here is a picture of me with my mind blown because I’m next to him when we both received an award a few years ago. Every time I’ve seen him, he’s always been a gentleman. Happy 92nd!!"
