Do you have some Nashville favorites? A favorite place to eat, grab a coffee, drink craft beer, get your lashes done or buy a book? Those are just a few of the many, many categories and subcategories included this year in the Nashville Scene Best of Nashville 2022 ballot. Vote for them today in the Best of Nashville 2022 contest.
Voting is open through September 6th.
You can help local businesses, big and small, feel appreciated for the work they do by participating in the Nashville Scene “Best of” vote. For 34 years, the Nashville Scene has published a Best of Issue highlighting Nashville residents’ favorite spots. Over the years, categories have changed and grown to over 8 categories, and within each category, you will find various subcategories. For example, In Arts, Culture, and Music, there are about 39 subcategories!
You do not have to vote in each category; however, it is requested all voters choose a favorite for 20 categories minimum. You can vote for every category if you want!
The Nashville Scene makes voting super easy and fair. They ask voters to submit business names in at least 20 categories. That is easier than it sounds once you start seeing the categories you have to choose from. Also, the system keeps track of you based on your email.
No problem if you don’t see the business you want to vote for in a drop-down menu! You can add it.
Voting is open through September 6th.

Winners are all determined by voters!
This is a chance for local businesses to ask those who shop, dine or use their services to get out the vote! No one can pay to win. Winners are all determined by votes.
The Nashville Scene has a Best of Nashville Campaign Toolkit to help local businesses engage customers to vote online!
Winning a category is a big boost for local spots and gives them some bragging rights, which also helps boost business. Being nominated for a category is also big encouragement.

There are many ways to support small businesses. Writing reviews and referring people can make a big difference for small businesses. Also, sharing online helps spread brand awareness for your favorite places and helps small business owners feel supported and encouraged! Another way to support small businesses on social media is by engaging with their content through likes and comments.
Another way to support small businesses is to take advantage of the many free things to do in Nashville weekly! Check out this post from last week and be on the lookout for a new one each Friday. Many small businesses in Nashville offer free events and activities weekly or on a rotating basis (like the First Saturday Art Crawl).
Even More Ways To Support Small Businesses
The holidays are coming, and there will be many opportunities for giving. Consider including local businesses in your philanthropic efforts. Shop local for toy donations or buy meals from a local restaurant to give to someone in need.
Buying gift cards may not seem like a big deal, but they provide immediate revenue that can help a small business. Gift card trends show many people end up spending more than their gift card amount. That’s good news for small businesses.
More than Businesses in the Best Of 2022
In the Best of 2022 Vote, you can vote for other Nashville area entities such as schools, teachers, politicians, News personalities, Radio DJs, and more! It's all about community.
