Today, June 13th, 2022, everyone is welcome to join in a candlelight vigil honoring the 20th birthday of a young man, Grant Solomon. Grant’s life was taken from him, and, to this day, the events surrounding his suspicious death leave many questions. Gallatin Police and Tennessee Governor refuse to reopen an investigation to resolve these questions.

#justiceforgrant is the hashtag the @freedomforgracie Instagram page uses to spread awareness about Gracie’s brother’s mysterious death. The Instagram page has survived many attempts by Aaron Solomon, Gracie and Grant’s father, to shut it down.

Aaron Solomon, former WSMV (Nashville) anchor from 1996 - to 2011, is the main subject of a viral YouTube video posted by his daughter in May 2021. He has initiated multiple efforts in court against his ex-wife, people in the community, and many “Jane Doe’s .”He insists they are behind the video and subsequent Instagram page, which accuses him of rape, child abuse, spousal abuse, and involvement in his son’s death.

To this day, Gracie insists the words she shares on the video are her own. She claims she decided to share her story publicly. After years of being ignored by her local church and school, Grace Chapel Franklin and Grace Chapel Academy, the staff and community in which she and her brother Grant tried to seek help. As a minor, Gracie was forced to comply with visitation with her dad and alleged abuser. She was scared. No one was listening, so she did the only thing she knew to do - share her story on the internet for everyone to see and hope someone might try to help her.

Grant and his untimely, suspicious death are the focus of the candlelight vigil to be held tonight, June 13th, at 5:30 pm. Today would have been Grant’s 20th birthday. Two years ago, Grant suddenly died in the parking lot of a sports complex in Gallatin, TN. His father, Aaron Solomon, was the only witness. The case was closed by Gallatin Police, who say they completed a sufficient investigation. The Freedom for Gracie Instagram page claims otherwise. On the page, you can see many details explaining the insufficient “investigation” and demanding an independent re-investigation in light of physical evidence, mountains of circumstantial evidence, and countless questions surrounding Grant’s death.

@freedomforgracie is a public Instagram page launched on May 12th, 2021, with a video of Gracie Solomon sharing details about her life with her father in a two-part video also viewable on YouTube. In the video, Gracie references her father, the years of abuse she endured, and how she believes he was involved in her brother’s death. Gracie, her mother, friends, family, and supporters would like authorities to investigate. The group has gathered mountains of evidence on their own, and they have posted most of it on the Freedom for Gracie Instagram page.

To show your support for Gracie, honor Grant, and send a message to Tennessee authorities, show up tonight at Legislative Plaza at the Capital 301 6th Ave N. in Nashville from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
