NHL Stadium Series Weekend in Nashville is Here!

The NHL Stadium Series weekend in Nashville is finally here! The outdoor hockey game featuring the Nashville Predators and the Tampa Bay Lightning is expecting a sold-out crowd, and Nashville is ready to party!

Nashville fans celebrate the Preds and the game with events starting Friday night and going through game time Saturday. Events are not only for Preds fans. There are plenty of fun events for Lightning fans to enjoy as well. This weekend in Nashville is a hockey lover’s dream.


Bridgestone Winter Park

Friday, February 25th, 4:30 – 10:30

@Bridgestone Arena 501 Broadway (across Fifth Avenue from Bridgestone Arena)

Fans can join the NHL fun by attending Bridgestone Winter Park, hosted by the Nashville Predators organization. This event celebrates the Predator’s playing in the NHL Stadium Series against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The retirement of Pekka Rinne’s jersey number will be honored, and live music performances will take place.

This event is a free, family-friendly event.


NHL Street - Youth Hockey Event

Friday, February 25th, starting at 4:30 pm

Bridgestone Arena Main Plaza

NHL Street Events hosts six pre-registered youth hockey teams playing five twenty-minute games. The players are ages 9 to 11 and will play games in downtown Nashville in front of Bridgestone arena (main plaza).


Navy Federal Military Veteran’s Hockey Tournament

Saturday, February 26th, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Bellvue Ford Ice Rink 7638B Hwy 70 S, Nashville, TN

Featuring four teams from around the country, each playing two games. Teams playing in the tournament include the North Carolina Warriors, Guardians Ice Hockey from San Diego, Veterans Hockey Unite from Washington D.C., and the Fort Worth Patriots.

NHL Street Festival hosted by Enterprise

Saturday, February 26th, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Bridgestone Arena Main Plaza

Pre-registration is required to receive the swag bag and perks. Festival attendees will experience street hockey at this free event! Walk-ups are welcome; however, the freebies mentioned are for those who pre-register. Registration is still open – here.

Predators Outdoor Pregame Party

Bearded Iris - Germantown Location 101 Van Buren Street, Nashville

Hosted by Bearded Iris and Diskin Cider, this free event features ciders, food, and free shuttle rides to the stadium.


NHL pregame party hosted by Truly Hard Seltzer

Saturday, February 26th, 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Parking lot R - Nissan Stadium

Free – no game ticket required

The NHL is hosting free fan interactive events pregame on Saturday, February 26th. The events include the Stanley Cup, which will be displayed for fans to view and take pictures. Live Music and other fun activities such as:

  • Bud Light Beer Garden
  • Interactive Hockey Fun - fans can participate in an accuracy challenge, hardest shot challenge, and target practice.
  • Hockey Trivia
  • Photo Ops – numerous photo spots, including a Dunkin Donut Wall, Sand sculptures from the Florida beaches, and an oversized NHL jersey. Photo spots are plentiful. Check out a more conclusive list here.

The FREE event happens in the Nissan Stadium Parking Lot R from 1 pm – 6 pm on Saturday, February 26th.

NHL Stadium Series featuring the Nashville Predators vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning

The big game starts at 6:30 pm, doors open at 4:30 pm.
