(Centennial, Colo.) Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office investigators are searching for a pair of car thieves believed to be armed and dangerous.

According to the agency, a man and woman were recorded attempting to steal a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck from a driveway. The truck’s owner, a 23-year-old male, interrupted the crime at about 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the 18000 block of East Caley Place.

The suspects arrived in a white sedan and parked in front of the victim’s home. When the truck’s owner confronted the suspects, they pointed a weapon at him. The resident fired at the suspects with his weapon, potentially hitting one. The suspects fled the scene.

Investigators have identified the thieves’ vehicle as a 2017 white Hyundai Sonata 4-door sedan with a license plate of LLDOLPH. If you have information, contact the investigations tip line at 720-874-8477. Any information reported can be confidential.
