(Douglas County, Colo.) Douglas County vehicle owners will see larger, more colorful registration renewal cards distributed this month for April renewal dates.
The courtesy reminder cards are sent to drivers annually a month before the vehicle registration expires. If necessary, it reminds motorists whether they need an emissions test.
The redesigned renewal cards began arriving in mailboxes in March. The new card is bigger, brighter and provides clear information on the options to renew a vehicle registration.
“We want all of our citizens to have an excellent customer service experience,” said Sheri Davis, Douglas County deputy of motor vehicles. “That experience starts with making sure drivers know about the fast and easy ways they can renew their registration.”
The new courtesy renewal cards provide step-by-step instructions for drivers to “Skip the Trip” by renewing their registration online, at a grocery store kiosk or by mail. Residents also can make appointments at the motor vehicle offices in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch and Lone Tree.
